The home sales statistics compare real estate housing sold in Leelanau County from January 1, 2014 through June 30, 2014 to the same time period in 2013,2012,2011, and 2010. This includes the townships of Bingham, Centerville, Cleveland, Elmwood, Empire, Glen Arbor, Kasson, Leelanau, Leland, Solon, Suttons Bay, and the City of Traverse City within the southeast corner of Leelanau County.

2014 Leelanau County Home Sales Volume has decreased -3.3% over 2013's record setting figures and total houses sold are down -10.0% over last year's pace due in large part to record low housing inventory. Average sales price has increased +7.5% and Median Sales price has increased +1.0% over last year.

The 2014 2nd quarter (January 1 – June 30) home sales data for Grand Traverse County has been posted in the charts above. The home sales statistics compare real estate housing sold in Grand Traverse County from January 1, 2014 through June 30, 2014 to the same time period in 2013, 2012, 2011, and 2010. This includes the townships of Acme, Blair, East Bay, Fife Lake, Garfield, Grant, Green Lake, Long Lake, Mayfield, Paradise, Peninsula, Union, Whitewater, and the City of Traverse City.

So far 2014 Grand Traverse County Home Sales Volume has increase +4.6% over 2013's record setting figures. Average sales price is up +8.9% while Median Sales price is up +5.3%. Total number of units sold has decreased -4.0% due mostly to very low inventory/home supply. There are plenty of buyers that just can't find a house to buy, especially in the lower price ranges <$200,000 near downtown Traverse City.
